Basic Guidelines for Member Clans:

  • Member Clans must register on Dnet/m in order to be recognized as an official Dads of Destiny Clan.
  • All Member Clans will be assigned a Community Manager to assist with information coordination. Community Managers assist with a number of functions including:
    • Information passing between Dadmins and Member Clans / DoD Members
    • A conduit for clan admins to reach out to the Dadmins with feedback
    • Dispute resolution within clans when called upon
    • Dispute resolution within DoD sites, chats, forums, etc.
    • DoD Rules, Regulations, and Guidelines enforcement as needed.
  • Assigned Community Manager must be granted access to clan forums, chats, etc.
  • Any altercation or dispute within a clan is the responsibility of the clan admins to resolve. If it escalates, then they may ask for a Community Manager to step in and arbitrate as an objective third party.
  • Disputes between clan admins that cannot be resolved must be brought to their Community Manager to be arbitrated until resolved.
    • The Community Manager has the final word and complete autonomous authority in this matter. A Dadmin may be present during arbitration for oversight only, not getting involved directly unless specifically asked by the Community Manager.
    • Clan Admins may ask for a second Community Manager to review the dispute as a form of appeal, but the request must be presented to the first presiding Community Manager as well. During the second round of arbitration and discussion, both Community managers and a Dadmin will be present, both the first Community Manager and Dadmin remaining in an observational role only.
    • The decision of the second Community Manager will be final and not up for appeal.
  • Clan Admins must be tagged with the clan that they are an admin for.
    • Clan admins that are tagged outside of the Dads of Destiny will be asked to either adjust their tag to fit their status or recuse themselves from their admin position.
    • If the admin is using a different tag in order to free up space for their members, the alternate tag in use must be a Dads of Destiny tag.
  • Clans must decide whether or not they will be “Dads only” upon conception of the clan.
    • If the clan is already in existence, then they* need to decide immediately and assure that the decision is placed either in the clan description/charter, both on the clan page on Dadsofdestiny.net as well as any other place that the clan description/charter is on display.
    • The choice to allow anyone in vs. Dads only may only be remade once. i.e. If said clan chooses to be “Dads only” upon conception, but then decides to become all inclusive, it may make that change, but only once. Once they have decided to become all inclusive, they may not revert back to “Dads only” again.
      • In this instance “They” is denoted as a majority vote from the *ENTIRE* clan, not just the clan admins. The admins may administer the vote, but only count as a single vote and carry no more weight than that of a regular member. The decision to be “dads only” vs. all inclusive is one that only the entire clan may make.
    • If it is discovered that the designation of a clan was changed without a clanwide vote, or if there was tampering with the vote in anyway in order to skew results, the offending member/s will receive a permanent ban from ALL Dads of Destiny clans and functions. This is non-negotiable
      • An investigation will be conducted prior to banning to ensure that there is no one banned due to false allegations.
