It is Arms Day and it is right on schedule thanks to Banshee over seeing the packages from the foundries through the Rocket Storms! This is an Arms Day after a week of Iron Banner so, hopefully everyone got excellent drops. I will highlight some of the drops that I was looking for in this past Iron Banner.

This Arms Day you might as well call it Suros Day cause 4 out of 5 weapons were all from the Suros Foundry.

The packages offered this week are almost as good as last week:

  • Suros ARI41 Auto Rifle
  • Suros ARI45 Auto Rifle
  • Suros PDX41 Pulse Rifle
  • Suros PDX45 Auto Rifle
  • Omolon Uzume RR4

I am going to make this short and sweet but this time give you the description of the perks. I did the same thing last week and I give you my picks for each node from most preferred perk to least preferred perk. I didn’t list all the available perks just the few that I thought would help complement the weapon’s stats.

My preferred are marked with a *

Pulse Rifles I expect disagreement on because everyone is using them. They still need to make up for the rifle or the user’s flaws/preferences as a gun or player. I am going to just be looking at the weapon.

Suros PDX41 Auto Rifle
This pulse rifle is the 66/14 medium RoF medium Impact with a TtK of 1.00s

Omolon Uzume RR4
I am going to offer up a PvP and PvE perk list for this weapon since they are so different when it comes to Sniper rifles. Omolon doesn’t seem to be the choice foundry for PvP players and a PvE player I like the snipers with the higher impact so I skip this package usually. I am sure this Sniper has some fans.

The Uzume RR4 is a high RoF low Impact Sniper rifle (40/13) with a TtK of 0.53s with only body shots.

PvE roll for this sniper

Scope Node:
Condor SS2 – improves Range
Corvo SS2 – improves Range

Third Column Node:
Tripple Tap – Rapidly landing Precision hits will return one round to the magazine*
Luck in the Chamber – One random bullet in the magazine causes bonus damage, if it is a precision shot
Firefly – Precision kills cause the target to explode for 50 points of damage to nearby enemies.

Fourth Column Node:
Rifled Barrel – Increase Range slower Reload*

Fifth Column Node:
Mulligan - Missing a shot has a chance to return ammo directly to the magazine.*
Unflinching - reduces reticule bounce while under fire from 10 o’clock to 2 o’clock.

Sadly there is not much left in this perk tree that will help this gun shine in PvE

PvP roll for this sniper

Scope Node:
Faucon SS1 – Low zoom scope preferred by PvP players

Third Column Node:
Performance Bonus – Kills with this weapon have the chance to grant bonus reserve ammo*
Army of One – This will help you as a guardian reduce the cool downs of grenade and melee

Fourth Column Node:
Snap Shot – This is all about the increased Aim Down Sight. They nerfed the perk and added more frames to the ADS for snipers; however, this is still a PvP favorite.

Fifth Column Node:
Mulligan – Missing a shot has a chance to return ammo directly to the magazine.*
Unflinching – reduces reticule bounce while under fire from 10 o’clock to 2 o’clock.
Clown Cartridge - Reloading this weapon has a chance to grant a larger than normal magazine.

The last available perks I never like but PvP player might so I am going to list them in no real order here:

  • Life Support
  • Underdog
  • Exhumed
  • Last Resort
  • Battle Runner

IRON BANNER WEAPONS

I said I would offer up the perks that are offered that I liked best for the Lord Saladin offerings and here they are.

Ashraven Flight
This Fusion Rifle is the 22/87 charge time, impact with a number of bolts to kill of 5. This means you have to land 5 bolts on a guardian to kill them regardless of distance. Keep in mind that Fusion Rifles are not hit scan so Aim Assist does you no good

Scope Node:
Red Dot ORES - Flexible sight. Enhances handling, range, and recoil control.
Red Dot ORS1 - Precision sight. Highest zoom in class. Enhanced range.

Third Column Node:
Hip Fire - This weapon has bonus accuracy while firing from the hip.*
Spray and Pray - Increases the reload speed of this weapon when its mag is empty.

Accelerated Coils – reduces your charge rate and your impact
Single Point Sling - Switch weapons faster. Move quicker while aiming.

Fifth Column Node:
Rangefinder – Increases Range*
Hot Swap Readying this weapon grants a brief period of bonus accuracy.

Iron WreathD
Side arms are pretty close in stats except for the Queens Choice that one is for sure the Queen of the Side Arms…bum bum cha! All the perks offered are the same on all the side arms so you can use this for everyone you own.

Scope Node:
Steady Hand IS – increased stability
Sure Shot IS – increased aim assist
Quick Draw IS – increased aim down sights

Third Column Node:
Rangefinder – Increase Range*
Crowd Control - Kills with this weapon grant bonus damage for a short time.

Hello fellow Guardians and gun nerds. My PSN is ZBlur and I am gun nerd. The label gun enthusiest is for the cool people I am more like Leonard from the Big Bang theory. The Dadmins on the Line and Discord chats have seen me spouting off my nerd mouth online and have enlisted me to start a article about weapons.
