It is Arms Day in a week that Bungie has a sneak peak of the new September expansion. Those hardcore players, like me, still around are likely looking for those min/max rolls on their weapon or the new Tier 12 armor that is all a buzz lately.

Gun Nerds let me take a hot second and list out the max number on each armor section. This is the max of 1 stat or a combination or 2 stats.

  • Helmet – 111
  • Gauntlets – 99
  • Chest Armor – 147
  • Leg Armor – 135
  • Class Item – 60
  • Artifact – 131
  • Ghost – 60

Now that I dropped that piece of knowledge on you let’s see what is going on with Banshee. The packages offered last week were pppptttttttt =P:

  • Suros ARI-41 Auto Rifle
  • Omolon Kumakatok HC4 Hand Cannon
  • Hakke Herja-D Pulse Rifle
  • Suros JLB-47 Rocket Launcher
  • Hakke Jingukogo-D Shotgun

We are going with my usual format short and sweet with a description of the perks. I give you my picks for each node from most preferred perk to least preferred perk. I do not list all the available perks just the few that I think will balance and complement the weapon’s base stats.

My preferred are marked with a *

Suros ARI-41 Auto Rifle

  • This auto rifle is the 88/8 medium RoF medium Impact with a TtK of 0.90s
  • This auto rifle is the New Monarchy Righteous VII with better reload and better aim assist.

Scope Node:

  • SRO-37 – Improves Range
  • SPO-28 – Improved Target Acquisition + AA

Third Column Node:

  • Hammer Forged – Improves Range and Accuracy*
  • Fitted Stock – Reduces Vertical Recoil
  • Perfect Balance – Lowers Recoil Slightly
  • Appended Magazine – More bullets slower reload

Fourth Column Node:

  • Rifled Barrel – Increase Range slower reload*
  • Snap Shot –  increases Aim Down Sights
  • Single Point Sling – Move faster while aiming

Fifth Column Node:

  • Counter Balance – Reduces Horizontal Recoil*
  • Range Finder – Increase Range while aiming
  • Persistence – Weapon grows more accurate as it is fired
  • Hidden Hand – Increases Aim Assist
  • Glass Half Full – Bottom Half of the Magazine causes Additional Damage

Omolon Kumakatok HC4

  • This is a 32/74 low-mid impact low RoF hand cannon with a TtK of  0.80s
  • With HC’s kinda meh this one is no different; however, if you really have to this HC
  • Nerd Fact – This HC minus the higher AA has the same stats as the Vanguard Down and Doubt 00-0

Scope Node:

  • Sureshot IS – increases Handling and AA
  • Steady Hand IS – increases stability

Third Column Node:

  • Luck in the Chamber (LiTC)*
  • Third Eye
  • Mulligan- Missing a shot has a chance to return ammo directly to the magazine.
  • Zen Moment – Causing damage with this weapon increase its stability. Stacks 6x up to 66%

Fourth Column Node:

  • Extended Magazine – This like all year 2 HC’s needs more bullets! *
  • Rifled Barrel – increase range slower reload – hint – reload gauntlets…love them.
  • Quickdraw – This weapon can be drawn unbelievably fast.
  • SnapShot – Increase the already fast Aim Down Sights
  • Single Point Sling – Switch weapons faster. Move quicker while aiming. “To dodging bullets – Jane”

Fifth Column Node:

  • Triple Tap – more ammo for precision shots
  • Firefly – because it is fun and the 50 points of damage in a area of effect helps too.
  • Outlaw – Precision kills with this weapon dramatically increase reload. – reload gauntlets – just saying.
  • Pulse Rifles I expect disagreement on because everyone is using them. They still need to make up for the rifle or the user’s flaws/preferences as a gun or player. I am going to just be looking at the weapon.

 

Hakke Herja-D Pulse Rifle

  • This pulse rifle is the 66/14 medium RoF medium Impact with a TtK of 1.00s
  • This pulse rifle is not one that I would recommend as there are better…-cough- PDX-41

Scope Node:

  • LB Assault – greater range
  • LC Ranged – more range…this gun needs it…

Third Column Node:

  • Crowd Control – Kills with this weapon grant bonus damage for a short time*
  • Head Seeker – Body shots with this weapon increase precision damage for a short time.
  • Glass half full – The bottom half of each magazine causes additional damage.

Fourth Column Node:

  • Counter Balance – Reduces Horizontal Recoil*
  • Full Auto – I think you know this one.
  • Rangefinder – Increases Range

Fifth Column Node:

  • Hand Loaded – This weapon is effective at an extended range*
  • Fitted Stock – Decreased vertical recoil
  • Snap Shot –  increases Aim Down Sights
  • Single Point Sling – Move faster while aiming

Suros JLB-47 Rocket Launcher

  • Rocket Launchers are all about how big is the BOOM and how fast can it get there!
  • This is THE BEST Legendary RL in the year 2
  • You heard me!! 84 blast radius 74 velocity 60 AA (4th best overall AA if you are wondering)
  • There are faster RLs and there RLs with a bigger blast radius; however, this one balances them both.

Scope Node:

  • Hard Launch – More Velocity and Blast Radius. Increased recoil. *
  • Soft Launch – Increased Recoil. Boost to Velocity.

Third Column Node:

  • Heavy Payload – Increases warhead blast radius.
  • Flared Magwell – Reload this weapon even faster.
  • Speed Reload– Reload this weapon quickly.

Fourth Column Node:
***These perks are Guardians choice

  • Tracking – Shells fired from this weapon track their targets – or Titan Taikonaut helmet
  • Grenades & Horseshoes – Rockets from this weapon will detonate early based on proximity to targets.
  • Tripod– This launcher’s tube can hold three shells.

Fifth Column Node:

  • Javelin– Increases warhead velocity. *
  • Snapshot – Aiming this weapon is incredibly fast.
  • Quickdraw – This weapon can be drawn unbelievably fast.
  • Single Point Sling – Move faster while aiming

Hakke Jingukogo-D Shotgun

  • I will never ever recommend this shotgun because it has 3 rounds in the chamber!
  • THREE Rounds! Really!
  • This is the 23/52 medium RoF medium Impact with a two shot TtK of 0.93s

Scope Node:

  • Field Choke – More range and impact. Increased recoil.
  • Smooth Ballistics – Increased recoil. Boost to range.

Third Column Node:

  • Final Round – The last round in a magazine deals bonus damage. Because 3 rounds! *
  • Close and/or Personal – Short period of 25% bonus melee damage after landing a hit with this weapon.
  • Army of One – Quick unassisted kills with this weapon reduce grenade and melee cooldown.

Fourth Column Node:

  • Rangefinder – Aiming this weapon increases its effective range. *
  • Feeding Frenzy – Kills with this weapon increase reload speed for a short time.
  • Hot Swap – Readying this weapon grants a brief period of bonus accuracy.

Fifth Column Node:

  • Rifled Barrel – Increased Range Slower Reload *
  • Hand Loaded – This weapon is effective at an extended range.
  • Flared Magwell – Reload this weapon even faster.
