Ingredients:
Ribs:
1 pack Pork Spare Ribs (10-12 Ribs or 4-5lbs depending on how its sold in your area)
1lb Thin Sliced Hickory Smoked Bacon (while you can use Think sliced it’s better to use the thin for this cooking method)
½ Cup Apple Cider Vinegar 1 Cup Water
2 Green Apples (Not Pictured) 1tsp Liquid Smoke (Not Pictured)

BBQ Sauce (Base; Seasoning is up to you):
1 Cup Molasses 1 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 ½ Cups Brown Sugar 2 Cups Ketchup
*Seasoning – this can be just about anything, you’ll notice my personal rub in the unmarked container below, it contains Salt, Ground Black Pepper, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Chile Powder and some other stuff (IT’S A SECRET!). Stick with standard BBQ flavors in your seasoning and just keep adding stuff until you like the flavor, BBQ sauce is all about what you like IMO so just go with what your gut tells you. For that reason I did not include pictures of me dumping in the ingredients for the BBQ Sauce as it’s really that simple.[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_line style=”border-top-color: hsl(0, 0%, 100%);border-top-width: 1px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”https://dadsofdestiny.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Ingrdients.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][x_line style=”border-top-color: hsl(0, 0%, 100%);border-top-width: 1px;”][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text]Assembly and Cooking:
Ribs:
Depending on how your Ribs come you make have to do some additional trimming. Remove any remaining bones while keeping as much of the meat as possible (Pro Tip: save the bones to make a broth for other recipes, simple add the bones to a pot and cover with water, heat on low for 3hrs and strain the liquid out).

Once you’re done trimming the Ribs wrap them with the bacon, keep the overlap to a minimum and cut slices down as needed.

Start putting them in your Crock Pot by lining the sides then bottom until the bottom is completely covered.[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_line style=”border-top-color: hsl(0, 0%, 100%);border-top-width: 1px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”https://dadsofdestiny.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Arrangement.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][x_line style=”border-top-color: hsl(0, 0%, 100%);border-top-width: 1px;”][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text]Once the bottom is covered continue placing them in the Crock Pot by going around the edges leaving the center open. Basically make yourself a meat bowl.

Take your 2 Green Apples and core/cut them into slices. Place the slices inside the meat bowl you created in your Crock Pot.

Add ½ Cup of Apple Cider Vinegar in the Crock pot.

Measure out your 1 Cup of water and add the 1tsp of Liquid Smoke to the water. Pour the mixture over your meat.

Cover the Crock Pot and turn it on to Low. Let it cook for approx 6hrs (this will all depend on your Crock Pot may be more or less depending on how hot it gets on the low setting)

End result should look something like the below image:[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_line style=”border-top-color: hsl(0, 0%, 100%);border-top-width: 1px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”https://dadsofdestiny.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Cooked.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][x_line style=”border-top-color: hsl(0, 0%, 100%);border-top-width: 1px;”][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 0px 0px 45px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text]BBQ Sauce:
Mix Apple Cider Vinegar and Brown Sugar in medium saucepan and heat on medium-low until Brown Sugar dissolves.

Mix in all other ingredients and heat on medium stirring frequently for 20mins.

Place the Ribs onto your plate and lather it up with as much BBQ Sauce as you want. Now go devour your meal and feel like the Manly Meat Eater that you are!

Serve with vegetables to keep Oversoul Gaze at bay![/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][/cs_content]
