This week join hosts Thorn, Kai, Blue, and Kp (he’s finally here!), as they delve into a wide variety of topics. The episode is kicked off by a brand new intro song, courtesy of MissingScore, an incredibly talented member of the Dads of Destiny who created it just for the show! After that, the guys dig into all sorts of gaming news stories. Blue lets his inner nerd out for a stroll as he shares his obsession with Pokemon and their 20th anniversary. Kp expresses his hopes and fears about the new Homefront: Revolution Beta, (because apparently that is how it is pronounced “properly”). They all discuss the horror that was the Virtual Boy, (except for Blue, who actually liked the thing. Headaches and nausea aside of course), and discuss their opinions on the “new” virtual reality direction that Nintendo is going in. Thorn tells some interesting stories about his time in the Division Beta and getting air raided by glitching players along with his final thoughts on how it went. The team also touches briefly on the “survey” recently released by Bungie to players that asks, “Why did you stop playing?”, and how they feel about that. They announce some t-shirt campaigns (I Support DoD & Destiny 2 Loading) and the reasons they are needed, as well as a heartfelt thank you to the entire community for being so awesome. Also, a fantastic Charity stream being run by DoD West Coast for the Children’s Heart Foundation is given a shoutout, (Starting Saturday, February 13th @ midnight, PST on Twitch.tv/dadsofdestiny) Finally, Kai shares a cautionary tale of how he almost accidentally assassinated his wife on Valentine’s Day with a vacation getaway and some guys riding horses.
